The big pour...

Awesome job done today, with the help of DadT, Leigh, Pete, Mike, Bradley, Kait, Bexx, MumS, Stephen... HUGE thanks to them all...
Concrete needs another wash off tomorrow to clean the macrocarpa sleepers, and to wash away the last of the silt from exposing the aggregate - its looking so GOOD...
Am so looking forward to getting the clothes line re-hung and being able to hang the washing without shingle and clay clogging my shoes... Setting up the huge outdoor table onto the pad outside the lounge windows ...
While the boys were tinkering with the concrete and exposing the aggregate etc - MumS, me and Leigh took off to our favourite -recycle clothing shop - ooh we came away with some great bargins - have washing up two lovely jumpers tonight - and have the jeans and a few other bits and bobs to wash in the morning... just love bargin/thrift shopping :)
Hope you've been having a lovely weekend too :)

It looks like you have got a fabulous view off the front edge of the new concrete - just guessing - is it worth showing us?

Looks like a massive extension - you won't know yourself with all that extra room! How wonderful it must be to have such handy helpers.
