Stitching and Sun...

Binding is finished on the shop sampler cot quilt for Sawmillers Quiltery. This is a panel (that you can purchase from Yvonne), that I sandwiched together with batting and backing fabric, then quilted (mainly stipple, and stitched 1/4" around the main features of the panel) and then added the binding. Was a quick project, the longest time was spent hand-stitching the binding LOL (not my favourite part of quilt making).

When I dropped the quilt into Yvonne this morning, my eye caught the new fabrics that had arrived... they are the most cutest fairy fabric, pop over to her blog to check it out... so tempted to add to the UFO pile...

So loving the BLUE skies at the moment and the WARMTH of the sun on your face and back. Went into Welly today to meet two friends for lunch at Mac's Brewery - took a couple of pics as I wandered over to join them.
The head cold is much better, so I guess that means no more excuses will be back into the exercise this week.
Well its back to surfing the job websites etc and applying for roles... I just know something will come up soon.
Have a fantastic week.
hugs
